Arctic SuperStore: the cold storage solution built to match your business
TITAN is proud to provide Australian businesses with one of the most innovative cold storage solutions on the market.
Whether you need a temporary cold storage warehouse for a mid-sized food production company, a secure cold space for the pharmaceuticals sector or a vast temperature-controlled (-40°C to +45°C) warehouse for a factory site, distribution centre or retail outlet, such as a supermarket, Arctic SuperStore is the answer.
By combining any number of our purpose-designed and built cold storage modules from our collection, we can create and deliver a bespoke cold storage facility that meets your precise needs.

Everything you need to know
Mix and match to your exact specifications
There is no limit to the configuration options when designing and building your Arctic SuperStore facility. Mix and match with different temperature zones (internal dividing walls/doors required), and even include blast-freezing or rapid-chilling zones to create open-plan or zoned chiller/deep-freeze warehouses of almost any shape and size.
We have installed SuperStores joined side-to-side, end-to-end and even side-to-ends.
A modular cold room for your business is much quicker and easier to install than a permanent cold room, reducing onsite installation to a matter of days in most cases and allowing you to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Importantly, our SuperStores are wide enough to accommodate Australian pallets – which are among the largest in the world.
Australian pallets are 1,165mm x 1,165mm and stand 150mm high. Our pallet-wide cold storage containers make the loading and unloading of these a breeze – no matter what your SuperStore configuration is.

Multiple options and tailor-made cooler solutions
Since launching this unique TITAN concept some years ago, we have installed almost 600 Arctic SuperStore cold stores globally. Collectively, these offer in excess of 30,000 square meters/300,000 square feet of reliable and precise temperature-controlled warehousing.
Customer applications include cold storage of meat, fish and other harvested commodities, Bio and Life Sciences (including pharmaceutical production and distribution), and new technology engineering products and components. SuperStores are also used as manufacturing facilities.

24/7 control of your Arctic SuperStore from anywhere in the world
Whether your Arctic SuperStore will be a simple single-zone setup or a more complicated multi-zone warehouse (possibly including rapid freezing or chilling), you’ll have total control from the second it’s turned on through SmartArctic.
That’s because our refrigeration systems include multiple sensors reporting to the hi-tech dataloggers. Live data is transferred real-time through a modem to the remote monitoring platform that YOU control. SmartArctic can be securely accessed by approved members of your team from anywhere in the world via phone, tablet or computer.
Powered by global cold chain tech company Copeland, SmartArctic provides 24/7 control of your Arctic SuperStore.
It means you can download data, make temperature set point changes, perform remote diagnostics, configure alarms and much more.
The system was developed to provide unbeatable control – and peace of mind – when managing your modular cold storage Arctic SuperStore warehouse.
SmartArctic comes with a range of benefits, including:
- Lower costs – reduce the need for site visits and easily maintain optimal temperatures.
- Reduced risk – spot potential issues the moment they occur.
- Better performance – SmartArctic’s trend analysis helps you introduce operational best practices.

From car testing bays to food production – a SuperStore for anything
Dynamic businesses can’t always commit to the rigid footprint of permanent cold storage.
That’s where modular configurations come in. An Arctic SuperStore delivers the massive, open-plan volume of a permanent building with the flexibility of a temporary installation.
That adaptability extends to performance, too. Because a SuperStore operates anywhere from -40°C to +45°C, a single setup can pivot between entirely different operational phases – whether you’re freezing a bumper harvest, tempering ingredients for production or running industrial stress tests.
Multi-Sector support and unbeatable safety
We’ve supported businesses who import ingredients from Italy, bio and life science companies, and car manufacturers who wanted to cold test whole cars. And we’ve helped clients store everything from carbon fibre and PCM Phase Change Material to drugs, meat, fruit and more.
SuperStores have been installed inside buildings, attached to and adjacent to buildings or free-standing outdoors. Bespoke solutions include conveyor belt transfer of products, positioning at loading bay height, and we can even create two-storey SuperStores with a ground and first floor. Floor strength permits the use of most types of indoor mechanical material handling equipment.
To make sure your Arctic SuperStore is as safe as can be, all of our modular units are HAACP compliant and workplace safety compliant and come with:
- Easy-opening doors. Larger installations include multiple exits for fire safety
- Internal door release. For additional safety we include an escape hatch on later models
- Internally activated alarm with external siren and beacon
- Anti-slip floor and internal lighting
- Day-Glo safety signage
- Full user manual
Tailored cold storage for demanding industries
Meet every regulation and deadline with risk-proof containers – monitored, validated and supported around the clock.
Going modular can reduce your energy bills by up to 40%
If you were to place 10 refrigerated containers side by side and a few metres apart, the laws of physics dictate that solar heat will warm each unit from multiple directions – left, right, front, back and top.
However, when you create an Arctic SuperStore with TITAN, the internal walls can be removed, so it’s like having one large container instead of 10.
And that means a significant reduction in heat loss. In tests, as much as 20%-40% less refrigeration is required to maintain a designated temperature throughout the cold store.
That’s true whether you’re setting a temperature for freezing or chilling. In short, by reducing your number of external walls, your cold store is less prone to solar heating – meaning less energy is needed.
On top of this, renting a bespoke, modular cold storage solution from us is far more affordable than building a permanent cold storage warehouse. SuperStore can help save you money on multiple fronts.
