After extensive research and testing, TITAN introduces the Arctic MegaStore – a two-storey cold storage system built by safely stacking reefer containers and turning them into one large, open-plan cold room for maximum storage capacity.
This breakthrough allows you to double your storage volume without increasing your footprint.
Whether you are in retail, pharmaceuticals, food production or any other industry, space at your business premises is often limited and expensive.
Business growth, however, is often reliant on increased cold storage capacity. When you are running out of floor space and have lots to chill, Arctic MegaStore is the answer.
Using a minimum of 8 × 40 ft ArcticStore cold storage containers – 4 on the ground floor and 4 on the first floor (also known as a 4-bay) – we can install a customised MegaStore at your premises that delivers massive impact in a compact footprint.
TITAN’s ArcticStore containers are like building blocks and can be arranged exactly as you want them. It means vast and unique cooler configurations are possible – including large, open-plan spaces.
Quicker and cheaper to install than a permanent cold storage facility, MegaStores can be created indoors or outdoors on flexible contracts that match your chiller capacity needs.
To support efficient operations inside the MegaStore, handling equipment must fit through the door dimensions. Forklifts must not exceed 1.9 m in overall height and 2.0 m in width. While width is rarely an issue, height limits mean that a pallet lifter is often the preferred choice, as its deployable mast design allows easy use within the available access space.
Even large, two-storey installations are easy to manage with SmartArctic, giving you precise temperature control and real-time monitoring across every level. You’ll have total control from the second it’s turned on through SmartArctic.
That’s because our refrigeration systems include multiple sensors reporting to the hi-tech dataloggers. Live data is transferred real-time through a modem to the remote monitoring platform that YOU control. SmartArctic can be securely accessed by approved members of your team from anywhere in the world via phone, tablet or computer.
Powered by global cold chain tech company Copeland, SmartArctic provides 24/7 control of your Arctic MegaStore.
