TITAN cold storage solutions help 100,000+ rock fans to chill out

Denmark’s popular Roskilde festival is just one of the many big gigs that we provide cold storage for. But did you know that some of our events expertise was developed there, too?
The challenge
TITAN Containers is regularly called on to provide cold storage for food and drinks at events all over the world, but our expertise in this arena wasn’t earned overnight. For more than five years now, we have been providing refrigerated containers to the Roskilde Festival – Denmark’s biggest music event.
It’s been a mutually beneficial relationship. For rock fans, our presence has helped thousands of visitors to stay cool with ready access to perfectly chilled drinks. For us, being at the heart of such a major event – and finding a way to seamlessly integrate into its logistics – has enabled us to gain experience and renown as a serious, reliable and capable events partner.
We share this growing knowledge with TITAN colleagues all over the world, who pass on their own experiences in turn. Being part of a connected global family not only helps us to expand our knowledge base at an exponential rate, it means that a client in one part of the world knows who to call if they are planning an event overseas and need some advice.
The solution
Roskilde needed us to provide cold storage for food and drink products for the duration of this mega event, which attracted in excess of 130,000 people. Our ever-reliable ArcticStore containers provided the solution. Capable of chilling down to -40°C, they can easily be transported on the back of tilt tray or Hiab trucks, ready for lifting into place.
The delivery
Arriving at the festival site, 30km from Copenhagen, exactly when we were needed, our teams set about placing the ArcticStore containers where they were required. Once connected to the power supply, these high-tech machines start working instantly, rapidly chilling the temperature inside in mere moments.
The results
Another successful event! While fans enjoyed a lineup that included Dua Lipa and Post Malone, they were able to chill out between bands with ready access to ice-cold drinks. For the TITAN team, the event only added to our already encyclopedic knowledge of how best to help cater large events, no matter where they are in the world.
