Denmark

TITAN Impact, our social initiative, is backing the Danish Red Cross Christmas campaign to ensure struggling families have food on the table this holiday season.

TITAN Containers is determined to spread a little Christmas cheer to families in need this year. When families are struggling financially, December 24 – the big day in Denmark – can seem like something to avoid rather than look forward to.

All those tempting Christmas treats that make the big day so special can seem cruelly out of reach – and it’s particularly difficult for parents who worry their children will miss out.

The good news is that many big-hearted organisations are on hand to help at Christmas, including the Danish Red Cross.

Every year, Red Cross Denmark helps struggling families across the country with Christmas baskets filled with festive goodies and treats or gift certificates that can be spent at Coop stores.

A danish company through and through

The Red Cross makes it easy for companies like ours to support their family Christmas work through sponsorship packages that ensure all donations are rapidly translated into food gifts for families in need.

TITAN’s support will ensure the spirit of Christmas extends to some of the many children in Denmark who often miss out on the traditions the rest of us enjoy.

While we might be a global company today, our roots are in Denmark, where our international headquarters are still based.

Through TITAN Impact, our social initiative that supports worthwhile causes all over the world, we have been supporting Save The Children in Denmark for many years.

Our support for the Danish Red Cross’ Christmas campaign helps cement our commitment to giving something back to the communities where we feel most at home.

A global endeavour with grassroots origins

TITAN Impact has heartwarming origins, built on ad hoc acts of kindness our employees quietly performed around the world over many years.

Since its formal establishment as a global social initiative, TITAN Impact has supported good causes in many of the countries where we have a presence.

These include the UK, where we have provided safe storage for a Yorkshire food bank and a youth football club that had been on the brink of closure.

Our support has also been offered in Dublin, where we assisted during the building of a children’s home, and to a scheme that refurbishes bicycles for African communities.

Requests for support are considered in all the 90+ countries where we have a presence, with those promoting local sports, green initiatives and community growth resonating the strongest.
